Happiness is Dad's wallet and a tiara

Great shopping feats are only possible due to a consistent and challenging training regime. Currently I'm focused on accessories and unlocking the secrets in Dad's wallet.

15 months have just toddled away...

So what have I been up to? Let me think....
* I now have loads of hair but still not enough for a pony tail :(
* I have had a tooth explosion. Mum is too scared to stick a finger in my mough to count how many....but she guesses around twenty-ish.
* I have a real sweet tooth.
* I LOVE the wiggles and dancing and music!
* I am officially a toddler. No more crawling for me!
* My favourite foods are cheese, BBQ chicken, fruit and yoghurt. Yum cha is always fun :)
* I have been practising using my words.
* I love sleeping in with mum on the weekends.
* I have taken to climbing up and standing / dancing on things. In particular tables, chairs and couches.
* I love the swings, climbing and can do the slippery dip by myself!

High heels

We went to the shoe shop on Saturday. Mum and Dad were focused on finding good walking shoes. Not me, I was trying to locate the high heels that I've heard so much about...

I had to climb all this way up the ladder by myself to reach them!

Dad was no help, he kept saying "be careful", "not too high" and trying to hold me (back). So much negativity and he hadn't even seen the high heels on yet!

Toddling

This video was shot on July 12, just after I'd really started toddling.

Three weeks later, I'm walking everywhere and into everything. Sometimes there is just so much to do around the house that it's hard to find the time to blog.

For example, Mum and Dad like to take me for long walks on the weekend (1-3hrs), but they have never packed enough water. Before now, I couldn't really help with that. So the other night, I checked that there was still a water bottle in the bottom of the stroller. Pulling it out, and walking around the room with it for a while, I could see that it was heavy but not overly so (0.5kg).

From my early morning bottle routine, I also know that Dad has a second bottle of water next to the bed. He never uses it, so I decided to put it in the stroller too. I walked into his bedroom and right up to the bedside table to get the bottle and carry it back to the stroller. Dad seemed to think this was a good idea, since he started clapping and happily went off to tell Mum what I'd done.

Like I said, there is much to be done...
