Plum-Tuckered Out!

We spent the last week in sunny Queensland with some of mum's family and had an absolute ball. It was a fun-filled adventure with twelve of us packed into one house. Mum and dad gave each other a camera for Chrissy and so we have lots of photos to share with you. In faxct they took 145 piccies & videos in TWO days! However, as we only got back today I am bit exhausted to put any up just yet. As you can see from the photos below I had such an action packed fun time that mum and I had a 50 minute snuggle on the flight on the way home...

Christmas on the Gold Coast

We spent Christmas this year on the Gold Coast with Mum's family. It was fantastic! Nice weather, swimming, presents, swans, cousins ... What more could a girl want? I've also written about the christmas surprise, Nate's visit, the Dora presents, my cool hat and the trip home.

I had a lot of fun bending up and down in Nanny's boots, parading around in Grandfarmers Hat and wearing Uncle Andrew's fairy outfit (just kidding!).

Apparently a big part of Christmas Day is eating too much - fine with me!

Tom, Millie and I spent lots of time together and loved posing for the camera...

As is the way in a hot Australian Christmas, a lot of time was spent in and around the pool :)

And, of course, there were presents! But, unlike last years ducks, this year we had swans who liked to visit the back of the lake house we were staying in.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas!

Hope you had a fun-filled, yummy-filled day like we did.

Love

Huge art - Christmas surprise!

When we woke up on Christmas morning there was a surprise waiting for us! Giant pictures to colour in! Tom had Ben 10, Millie had Batman and I had a Dora picture. It was really, really cool!

Unfortunately we were really busy with family commitments, so these projects were too big to do on the day but Millie worked hard on hers over the following weeks!

Scarves and Dollies

I'm having fun at the moment playing with scarves and dollies/teddies....

what? you are looking for your monthly update?
I'm way too busy to post...
I've got sooo many things to do!

The Big Sandpit

This morning we spent time at The Big Sandpit in Wentworth Common at Sydney Olympic Park. Dad and I got covered in sand while building a castle, but the most fun were the little waterfall machines.

Unfortunately I wasn't quite strong enough to push the button, but Dad was very helpful responding to my requests of "More! More!" for about 30 minutes. It was a huge morning of park play, but we recovered with a massive lunchtime sleep :).

A day in the big city

On Sunday Dad and I ventured into the city - it was great!

We got the train in, which was quite a trip down memory lane for me. We had heaps of fun checking out the doors each time they opened and playing peek-a-boo through the metal bars in the vestibule area.

I was waving goodbye to the train guard when she asked if we'd come into the city for the parade? Parade ... Cool! She was even nice enough (from our perspective anyway) to hold up the whole train while she ripped out the instructions from the paper for us.

The parade wasn't actually meant to start until 11:30am, but they were already inflating all the floats so we got to get up close and even help hold the ropes. My favourites were the leprecaun and the panda.

Other than that, we spent some time down near Circular Quay. I particularly enjoyed the Museum of Contempory Art. I would run up the ramp and then walk (without help) down the steps. There were a couple of tumbles, including one spectacular capsize landing on the top of my head, but I just kept practicing.
